Ready to Take Action in Your Community to STOP the 15-Minute City?

SMART City, 15-Minute Livable City, Inclusive, Sustainable, Net-Zero, Pedestrian Forward... You may have read these terms recently online or heard them through conversations or even on signage in your own town. Sounds benign right? What could be wrong with a 15-Minute Livable City?

These are the terms that are being used in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals plan https://sdgs.un.org/2030agenda . And these plans are being rolled out in every city across Canada as they all move in lockstep with the UN and the World Economic Forum: https://www.weforum.org/events/sustainable-development-impact-summit-2021/sessions/the-15-minute-city.

The problem arises when we look at the desire of these global organizations to reduce our mobility, our consumption of clothing, car ownership, travel and change our diet to reach specific targets of CO2 emissions. All in a relatively short period of time. Please read the Executive Summary on C40.org, go to the consumption table page 20 of the PDF https://www.c40.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/08/2270_C40_CBE_MainReport_250719.original.pdf.

And it’s already starting as city streets are being blocked to put in "community structures", and/or cement barriers to "slow traffic" and/or entire intersections are being sequestered for bike shares, etc. And all of this is being done WITHOUT meaningful consultation, with our tax dollars.

It's time for Canadians to take action to STOP the implementation of this UN/WEF agenda and to hold City Hall accountable for collaborating with unelected foreign entities to develop domestic policies. You can read more on these global plans HERE: https://stand4thee.com/15-minute-city.

Tomorrow night we are hosting a 15-Minute City Action Plan Kick-off Zoom. The purpose of this Zoom is to get folks organized in their community. We’ll review existing plans and discuss strategies to halt these plans before they begin.

Transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development | Department of Economic and Social Affairs
Preamble This Agenda is a plan of action for people, planet and prosperity. It also seeks to strengthen universal peace in larger freedom. We recognise that eradicating poverty in all its forms and dimensions, including extreme poverty, is the greatest global challenge and an indispensable requirement for sustainable development. All countries and all stakeholders, acting in collaborative partnership, will implement this plan.
