People of a certain age were taught at a young age to trust the authorities. The authorities are called THEY.
They say ... masks will stop the virus.
They say ... ivermectin is bad for you.
They say ... the COVID-CCP injection is safe.
They say ... we should use paper straws.
They say ... blocking the only paved road out of the burning Hawaiian town of Lahaina will save us. (The only people who escaped were those who drove around the city's blockade. )
They say ... we will all die because of weather.
New Rules: If the authorities - "They" - say it: Do NOT believe it. Do NOT do it. Drive around the blockade!
It will take some getting used to. But, it must be done. To do otherwise is to die many little deaths . . .
