Ontario’s first-past-the-post system hands all the power to one party with just 40% of the vote. The majority of voters are left without representation, shut out of decisions that affect their lives. In today’s climate of worsening political polarization, we cannot afford to give total control of the legislature to one party with only minority support. Voters deserve meaningful choices, effective votes, and a legislature that truly reflects Ontario’s diversity.
