Going forward... Intermittent Fasting and monthly 3 Day Water Fasting.

Intermittent Fasting: Which fasting hours/eating hours split? 12/12? 16/8? No-one has ever discussed "how much and what was the last meal?" And how long will it take to digest it? One? Five?

Beef is extremely dense. Can require even more time if beer and cake, ice cream is also consumed. The real question is how much time before the stomach empties?

The entire premise of Intermittent Fasting is the 13-16 fasting hours zone.

HOWEVER, no-one who loads up on dense protein is going to get to deep repair even remotely as soon as his neighbour has a green juice with some fermented flour flat bread for his/her last meal.

Beef is best consumed in the second last meal if you want optimal Intermittent Fasting benefits or you may not see many benefits.

The second meal will enjoy several more hours of repair more, when both fast for 16 hours. An optimal advanced heath last meal of the day does not require as many hours to fast as a dense protein meal eater.

Second question... How much repair is desired?
Third question... How much nutrition is required by the faster?
Fourth question... How many hours will you choose?

Me? Likely 13/11 - 16/8. Results will determine the usual split.
