Now that we’ve established homosexuality is an illness, what is to be done? Current “democratic” governments have their politicians win the gay vote by granting them special status and rights. An example would be the recent American supreme court ruling, where a elite appointed body decided for the majority that homosexuality is good and legal for all. Many Americans feel contrary to this ruling, but their voice means nothing to the government. If this court decided that on homosexuality, why couldn’t they do the same with bestiality or paedophilia tomorrow? What should be done, is respect and treatment, not acceptance of their illness as natural. It is disrespectful to lie to a mentally ill person telling them they are functioning fine when they are falling apart and evidently need help. Treatment is important. Left untreated, homosexuality degenerates the mind, opening the gateway for more serious mental illnesses to develop. Look at any “gay” person before and after they’ve “come out” into the community. Exhibitionism and narcissism is very common. A good example would be to watch a pride parade. Flamboyant homosexuals do their best to outperform each other in attracting attention. However, there are homosexuals who do reject the “gay identity” and live a productive life. I respect that, however these people should have the option for treatment, considering how depression goes along with homosexuality quite frequently. You wouldn’t tell a schizophrenic his delusions are real, would you? Then why lie and say homosexual behaviour is normal? Homosexuality shouldn’t be illegal, and it shouldn’t be accepted, it should be treated as it is evidently, a mental illness, a sexual deviancy, a unhealthy fetishism of the opposite sex.
