According to search engines, we are 38 days away from Christmas Day!!! What does that have to do with natural health? Remember the question I asked a few days ago around what the various whole foods are that you use in your holiday dishes? There are foods, herbs, spices, etc that only seem to show up around certain holidays, so I was curious what was considered festive or holiday foods in your house. While I waited for answers, I continued to add to my own list, and then another answer showed up, and between the two lists, I ended up with 38 whole foods, herbs, and spices. So beginning today right through to Christmas Day, I will be highlighting one food, herb or spice and sharing it's nutritional/medicinal profile based on the info I currently have in my nutritional/medicinal wholefood spreadsheet/database!
That database is available for just $75 with $10 updates every few months or so. Anyone suggesting a significant number of changes/additions/correction/etc to the database will be eligible for a discount as my way of saying thanks for the added information. Nutritional and medicinal information about the food we eat is so widely scattered, that this is my way of trying to aggregate it all into one place, primarily for my own usage, but for anyone else who could use a one-stop resource as well.
If you download and print off each food's nutritional/medicinal profile this season, by Christmas Day you'll end up with a 38-page 8.5x11 binder you can use the rest of the year, for FREE! I'll be packaging these into an ebook and print book in the New Year that will be available for sale. I'm also considering taking 12 of the profiles and turning them into a calendar for the New Year as well.
