Who knew that actual common sense would be a good thing? <smh> Florida School District Banned Cell Phones and the Results Have Been Wild A Florida school district that banned student cell phone use this school year is reporting fewer problems and better grades. Broward County Public Schools banned any phone use, including at lunchtime. “I’ve noticed a lot more creativity with students, I think their attention spans are a little longer, they have excellent conversations in their groups, those conversations are lasting longer, our class discussions are definitely a lot longer and they’re a lot deeper because no one’s really focused on checking their phone,” Dan Katz, who teaches drama and law at Fort Lauderdale High School, said. School board member Allen Zeman said fights are down 17 percent from the same point a year ago. According to school administrators, he said, “the lack of cellphones is taking away an ability for people to organize fights and organize big numbers of people to get together and fight during or after school. Zeman said academic achievement has improved throughout the schools because of the policy. “This year, at the halfway point, our gains are greater than they were, the gains, from last year,” Zeman said. “I had a teacher write to us and say for the first time in 10 years, for each student in her classroom, she had two eyeballs watching her give a lecture,” he said. A Broward County Schools news release said that banning cell phone use, even during lunch, led to “[p]rioritizing school as a place for learning that is distraction-free. This can help students stay focused on academics and maintain a learning mindset throughout the school day.”

From dialogue of the actual hearing, the Pakistani rape gangs were (and still are) horrific. Reading the transcripts you cannot believe one human being would do this to another. Arranging the gang rape of 11 year old girls (not one girl - many) for groups of men (often more than 10) every orifice penetrated while putting out cigarettes on her. It took some finagling on the back end of my website, but by the end of January 2024, I had a way to roughly track post views again, two ways to be exact. So we'll take a look at two different perspectives of how many people visited my site for various topics of interest over the past 11 months. It always fascinates me what content rises to the top over the course of a year. It was good to see attention paid to some of the warnings I've tried to get out there, with what they want to do around bird flu, the henipa mitigation article still holds weight and I was pleased to see that article visited the evening of January 1st. When one of the platforms I'm on threatened to charge for media storage, I began posting foraging articles to my blog, and those have been getting a decent number of views over the course of 2024. These articles give a glimpse into what we forage for and occasionally why we forage for it as well as forays into preparing what we forage. I now have people asking for advanced foraging workshops, which are in the very early planning phases. Feedback on that list would be very helpful at this stage. The remainder of the list was various subjects related to using food as medicine for various issues facing the general public. Some of those issues are string puller caused, others are big pharma caused ( I might be repeating myself there), but the powerhouses of nutrition and medicine that God has placed within our grasp is incredible to uncover, particularly as ongoing modern-day research continues to verify and explain why various herbs were used for the same reasons in centuries past. To those of you who have been sharing my blog articles and newsletters, I want to say a BIG thank you! My numbers are very small compared to the numbers you're taught to expect when marketing your services online. But this is encouraging nonetheless.
