Up to July 16th, 2021, Canada had administered 44,694,799 doses of the COVID vaccines equal to 54.38% of the total doses up to April 8th, 2022. During that time, 27,197 AEFI were reported in 10,167 people. This equates to 23% of all AEFI reported up to April 8th, 2022. From July 17, 2021, to April 8th, 2022, another 37,490,746 doses of the COVID vaccines equal to 45.62% of the total doses up to April 8th, 2022 were administered. During that time, 113,296 AEFI were reported in 44,154 people. This equates to 77% of all AEFI reported up to April 8th, 2022. The average for AEFI reported for COVID should be 3,623 (3.20% of the total actually reported) based on the prior year on year average. Even though 55% of the vaccinations were given (primarily to the most vulnerable) by July 16th, 2021, you appear to be over three times more likely to have suffered an AEFI during the second, third, and fourth shot rollouts, based on the government's own data. Shouldn't they be getting less dangerous if they are just boosters? Additionally, 47% of all Albertans hospitalized with a COVID diagnosis had the third shot whereas 26% hospitalized had a second. This is despite 36% of Albertans having a third shot and 40% having had a second.
