In a very unexpected development Denmark is now working directly with Russia's Gazprom to do environmental mitigation on the damaged Nord Stream pipelines, in the wake of the multiple underwater blasts that took them offline on September 26, 2022 - leading to years of accusations against Moscow and a Russia-West tit-for-tat.
Denmark's energy agency has granted Nord Stream 2 AG (which is under Gazprom) permission to engage in preservation work on Nord Stream 2 in the Baltic Sea. The agency described that there remain serious safety risks after the natural gas pipeline was filled with seawater and the remnants of natural gas.

Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto said that Kiev's suspension of oil transit from Russia to Hungary and Slovakia was coordinated by Brussels.

"The American deep state needs the EU's total dependence on US energy resources," Maria Zakharova added. "This guarantees Washington economic bonuses and political control of the EU."
This means Washington is behind Brussels on the suspension, Zakharova noted.

"That is why the EU's long-term contracts with Russia were so hated by the [United] States. That's why Nord Stream 1 and 2 [gas pipelines] were bombed," she said.

The Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines were hit by explosions in September 2022. Nord Stream's operator, Nord Stream AG, said the damage was unprecedented and that it was impossible to estimate the time repairs might take.

Russia considers the explosions of the pipelines an act of international terrorism.​

And anyone actually watching with an honest mind knows the powers that be in the US are really not much different than any other dictator in the world who wants full control -- the US just does it a little different.
