They didn’t, and they won’t. This has nothing to do with “data”. “Critical theory”, no matter where it is applied, is, ironically, the antithesis of “critical thinking”. For a Postmodernist, an individual, a scientific theory or a national policy has absolutely nothing to do with facts…only with “truth”, and truth is defined by ideology. Unless an objective definition of truth, based on facts, is re-established. We really have no future. If our society survives, we will enter a period of time like that of the “religious” persecution of Galileo or The Inquisition. Neither had anything to do with God. They were evil, not good. Based on power, not truth. So far the burning at the stake has only concerned one’s professional life, but if this spills over into political power……Antifa and the pro-Hamas hatred of Israel and Jews is only the tip of the iceberg. There is a roiling mass of evil in our society, just below the surface… Every once in a while, we get glimpses of it. I have come to the conclusion that “Society Must Be Defenestrated” (thrown out the window). Our society cannot be redeemed, it must be dismantled. At this point I’m not even sure we need to rebuild it. Bougieness is the antithesis of truth because you have to believe a lie in order to stay in the club — why would we preserve that!? Our society is so toxic and deadly, if it came in a bottle it would have a skull and crossbones on the side. Think I’m wrong? Try to name a single mainstream institution that performed well during the pandemic: * Hospitals? Used the wrong protocols (still do). * AMA, AAP, ACOG? Took money from industry, did not care how many people they killed. * CDC, FDA, NIH? Designed and implemented the iatrogenocide. * Mainstream media? Enthusiastic promoters of the iatrogenocide. * The tech sector? Set up the largest censorship system in the history of the world to protect the cartel. * Universities? Don’t make me laugh. * Teachers unions? Skipped school for 18 months, got paid, and then sold the students in their care to the cartel once again when they got back. * Pharma, with some admittedly sophisticated help from PR firms and DoD, erased science, logic, reason, ethics, tradition, common sense, and the instinct for self-preservation faster than you can say, “15-days to flatten the curve.” Pharma’s ultimate weapon was to control who belonged and who was exiled from mainstream society. All heretofore existing bourgeois institutions instantly fell into line. None of these institutions is capable of reforming itself. Is any university really going to admit that it was wrong to require the bivalent “booster” that was only tested on 8 mice? No. All of these institutions and actors believe that “society must be defended” — no matter how pathological it has become. The death toll from this poke campaign is already more than 1,000-fold higher than any poke program in American history and it has not changed their worldview one bit — because their worldview consists of a single thought: “society must be defended.” Yes. Matthew 6:25-26 We leave the Old Testament now in our Food in Scripture quotes, and enter the New Testament, starting with quotes from one of my all-time favourite passages of Scripture! Some will point to this passage as an excuse not to prepare, as an excuse not to tend to daily needs, even as an excuse not to do what is necessary when planning ahead. None of those reasons actually apply to the passage these quotes are taken from. Christ is speaking of obsessive worry over basic needs and expecting that we have to do it all on our own. Christ wants us relying on God for our provision, rather than ourselves. However, as demonstrated throughout the rest of Scripture, many times that provision comes along dressed in overalls and looks like work. In both the Old and the New Testament, God gives illustrations of those who refused to do the work and showed the untimely end such people came to. The Apostle Paul writes that he who does not work should not eat. Conversely, looking to God for our provision entails the laying aside of provision for others, including that of tithes and offerings for God's House. In the Old Testament, those tithes and offerings were not merely sacrificial ritual to cover sins or thank God for the harvest, these things were also to feed the levites and priests in God's House. We are told to consider the ant, who prepares for winter's food with summer's efforts. But unlike the ant, or the giver of offerings, Christ's parable of the miserly grain farmer shows what God thinks of those who set by exclusively for themselves and no one else. If God knows that answering our prayer for provision will result in us being selfish with it, such a prayer may not be answered how, or to the level we hope for. But if we lay aside some of what God has provided with the knowledge it may be needed to bless someone else, then God will answer in the manner and timing He sees best. We are not to be worried about where our food and clothing comes from. We just need to be willing to put in the work when God's answer for those provisions comes with a toolbox to put it together.
