More and more, the decision not to tie myself to natural health product distribution companies as a primary source of income is proving to be the right one. How this plays out into the future remains to be seen. As it is, you can't use your insurance to pay for my services, so no loss there on your end. But we DO need to keep an eye and ear out to see if what the WHO does with this trajectory eventually outlaws natural health practitioners from practicing or not. This may mean going further toward a donation system, similar to the products I've set up for paying it forward for others who can't afford a natural health practitioner, or crowd-funding my services so I can offer workshops for free, etc. Perhaps even a barter system such as the points method I've set up on my new community website.
Unfortunately, India has been more progressive on the world stage economically and technologically than I appreciate, so unless their government and agency leaders can provide enough pushback to their own alternative medicinal practices being assimilated, to slow down or cause the WHO to retract efforts in this space, the rest of the world may get forced into back yards sooner than anticipated.
When you pay for my services, you are paying for what I've learned, researched, practiced in my own home, and paid for myself. I am not selling you any natural health products. Instead, I am teaching you about using food as your medicine! I generally won't be teaching you how to make tinctures or medicinal powdered blends. Now that I know where the WHO is going with "traditional medicine", I'm glad my focus is on how to use your food that you eat every day, in a more purposeful manner to maintain or regain your health.
I will teach you about foraging for wild food and medicine. I have a foraging workshop that introduces you to the concept.
When you learn how to look after your health yourself, and when you learn how you can do it without going to the store, or going to the store less frequently, you won't have to rely or worry as much about the WHO's misguided efforts.
