Tullamore’s ‘The Steminists’ make history with VEX robotics world final win Tullamore’s all-female robotics team ‘The Steminists’ have been hailed as “world champions” aftering bringing home the Judges Awards from the Vex IQ Robotics World Championships in Dallas this week. The competition took place from May 12 to May 14, and featured teams from across the globe. The Award-winning team includes five students aged between 12 and 14, including students Emily Thunder, Jasmine Matsushita, Rachel Ebenezer, Alice Duffy, and Olivia Hoey, supported by teachers Ms Sindy Meleady and Ms Aisling Bourke.
