  • Bnos Aliya Participates in Vex Robotics Tournament

This week, the middle school students participated in the VEX Middle School Robotics Tournament, hosted by YBH in Passaic, NJ. The event brought together teams of middle school girls from across the country—including Boston, Washington and Atlanta—for an exciting day of innovation, collaboration and competition.

Bnos Aliya is proud to share that their students placed 17th out of 50 teams—an incredible accomplishment. Their dedication, teamwork and problem-solving skills were truly inspiring. Even more impressive, the robot they used had broken during their last competition—but this time, it held strong and led them to success.

Kol hakavod to all the girls who represented the school with such pride and perseverance!

  • BBH Robotics teams shine at VEX World Championship: Talk of the Towns

BRECKSVILLE, Ohio – Brecksville-Broadview Heights Robotics once again proved its prowess on the global stage, sending seven high school teams and one middle school team to the prestigious VEX Robotics World Championship held in Dallas, Texas earlier this month.

A total of 37 BBH high school students represented their district among 833 elite teams competing across 10 divisions. This marks the second time in three years that BBH Robotics has sent more teams to the World Championship than any other single organization.

High school team 2011B (Biohazard) emerged as division champions for the second consecutive year, securing a spot in the World Bracket. Although they were eliminated in the first round by the eventual world champions, their performance reaffirmed BBH’s place among the best.
