If this court decided that on homosexuality, why couldn’t they do the same with bestiality or paedophilia tomorrow? What should be done, is respect and treatment, not acceptance of their illness as natural. It is disrespectful to lie to a mentally ill person telling them they are functioning fine when they are falling apart and evidently need help. Treatment is important. Left untreated, homosexuality degenerates the mind, opening the gateway for more serious mental illnesses to develop. Look at any “gay” person before and after they’ve “come out” into the community. Exhibitionism and narcissism is very common. A good example would be to watch a pride parade. Flamboyant homosexuals do their best to outperform each other in attracting attention. However, there are homosexuals who do reject the “gay identity” and live a productive life. I respect that, however these people should have the option for treatment, considering how depression goes along with homosexuality quite frequently. You wouldn’t tell a schizophrenic his delusions are real, would you? Then why lie and say homosexual behaviour is normal?
